Mr. Watene is the Alternate to PS-State Department for University Education and Research, Ministry of Education. He holds an M.Ed. (Education Administration &Planning) and B.Ed. (Arts) (Accounting &Economics) from the University of Nairobi.
He has vast experience of over 30 years at various levels of the Education sector as an Education administrator and manager/supervisor, Senior Education Officer, Assistant Director, Senior Assistant Director and currently Deputy Director, Higher Education.
