Prof Germano Mwabu

He is a Development Economist, with specializations in poverty measurements, inequality analysis, micro-econometrics, and RCTs. Extensive experience in coordinating, and collaborating in large multi-country, multidisciplinary research projects, mainly in Africa. He has authored or co-authored academic papers in which a gender perspective was employed to generate policy relevant evidence. He is a resource person for the AERC (African Economic Research Consortium) and a former chair of its Group A (a thematic research bucket on “poverty, income distribution and labor markets). He is currently finalizing a collaborative AERC paper on equality of opportunity in Cameroon and Kenya.
