Recently, in line with the President’s 10-point agenda, the Cabinet Secretary for Gender Culture, the Arts and Heritage constituted a Multi-Sectoral Working Group on the realization of the not-more-than-two-thirds gender principle. Using existing data on Women in Leadership and Management, KU WEE Hub engaged with the committee and submitted her advisory. KU-WEE pinpointed that inequalities are not only found at the political spaces, but that there are systemic, socio-cultural and care-related barriers driving inequalities at the public service when it comes to employment, appointment and promotion of women. The report was submitted to the ministry of Public Service, Gender and Affirmative action.
