KU-WEE Hub’s participation in the Gender Sector working group on Women’s Social Economic empowerment and Financial Inclusion

Prof. Grace Wamue makes shares research findings during the Gender sector working group on Women’s Social Economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion. The state department for Gender’s Sector working group on Women’s Social Economic empowerment and Financial Inclusion hosted a forum to discuss ongoing research in various WEE aspects. The platform provides opportunity for dialogue and exchange of ideas among various institutions pursuing WEE research and all line ministries. KU-WEE Hub’s advocacy and policy Lead, Prof. Grace Wamue shared findings on our ongoing research projects. Stakeholder engagement is at the core of the Hub’s approach as it provides the Hub a great opportunity to share gender data with policy makers and advocate for its use in WEE policy and programme formulation and implementation.
