Hon. Abraham Maruta holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Conflict Resolution and Peace Building from Kampala International University, Uganda, and is currently in his final year for an MSc in Community Development and Extension at Chuka University. He has also undertaken many short Management and Leadership courses in various institutions.
He is a County Executive Member (Waziri) in Tharaka Nithi County Government, on Public Service, Administration and Devolution Affairs since 2017. Previously, he worked in the Diocesan Council of Administration for 15years at the Directorate level and in the Catholic Diocese of Meru’s Social Development Office for 20years (Caritas Meru Office).
